Partnership Terms

The full terms

Packages and pricing

All partnership packages and pricing are listed on our partnerships page. Package pricing is fixed. By submitting an inquiry, you confirm that you have reviewed the available packages and understand what is included.

We sometimes offer custom or bespoke partnership packages that aren't listed on our partnerships page, based on your specific needs or timing. Custom packages are priced case by case and confirmed in writing at the time of booking. All of these terms apply to custom packages the same way they apply to our listed packages.

All packages must be scheduled and completed within 12 months of the booking date. If you haven't scheduled your partnership within that timeframe, please reach out and we'll do our best to accommodate based on availability. Please note that pricing is only guaranteed for 12 months from the booking date. Packages scheduled beyond that window may be subject to updated pricing.

Payment

Payments are processed through Kindred26 Media LLC. Invoices are due upon receipt. Accepted payment methods: credit card, Venmo, PayPal, and ACH payment.

• For dedicated features and date night features: A 50% deposit is required to reserve your spot on our calendar. The remaining balance must be paid in full before content is posted.

• For event promos and email newsletter sponsorships: Full payment is due upfront. Work begins once payment and any required assets are received.

Late fees

Invoices that remain unpaid 30 days after the invoice date are considered late. A late fee of 1.5% per month will be applied to any unpaid balance until it is paid in full.

Chargebacks

By submitting payment, you agree to raise any billing questions with us directly and not to initiate a chargeback or payment dispute.

Collection costs

If an unpaid invoice is referred to collections, you are responsible for the reasonable costs we incur to recover the balance, including collection and legal fees.

Expense coverage

For dedicated features and date night features: You cover the cost of anything we need to experience your business during our visit, including food, drinks, admission, tickets, activities, services, treatments, rentals, or products. This is separate from the partnership fee and is part of the standard partnership agreement so that we can show the experience in our content.

Communication and availability

We ask that a representative from your business is reasonably available throughout the partnership process to answer questions, provide details about your business, and coordinate logistics as needed. This helps us create the most accurate and complete content possible.

Content and posting

Omaha Guidebook creates all content. We handle filming, editing, and posting across our platforms. A content approval process is not included by default, but can be requested at the time of booking. If you request content approval, we'll send the content for your review and ask for your feedback within 2 business days. If we don't hear back within 2 business days, the content is considered approved and we may post it.

We aim to be fair and honest, both with your brand and with our audience. Our content is meant to be an overview of your business, not a formal review, but we reserve the right to include our own perspective. Editorial decisions are ours and are final.

If you believe there is a factual error in the content, please reach out before it's posted and we'll correct it. After posting, we can correct caption errors but we won't re-edit or repost video content.

We reserve the right to decline or delay posting content if circumstances change or if we determine the content no longer meets our standards. In the rare event this happens, we'll reach out to discuss next steps.

Posting timing varies by package. For dedicated features and date night features: we aim to post 1-2 weeks after filming. For event promos and email sponsorships: timing is confirmed at booking.

Rush delivery fees

Our standard posting timeline for dedicated features and date night features is generally 1 to 2 weeks after filming. If you need content posted sooner, we can often accommodate a faster turnaround for a rush fee of 20% of your partnership fee. Rush requests are subject to availability and must be confirmed at the time of booking.

Sponsored content disclosure

Partnership content is sponsored content. In line with FTC guidelines, we clearly disclose that our partnership content is paid. Depending on the platform and format, this disclosure may appear in the caption, as on-screen text, in the voiceover, or a combination of these. By partnering with us, you agree that all partnership content will be identified as a paid partnership or sponsored content.

Filming permissions and releases

By booking a partnership that includes filming or photography at your location, you confirm that you have the authority to grant us access to film and photograph there. You are responsible for securing any permissions needed for staff, guests, music, artwork, signage, or trademarks that appear in the content. You agree that we may capture, edit, and publish this content across our platforms as part of the partnership.

Content usage rights

All content created by Omaha Guidebook remains the property of Omaha Guidebook and Kindred26 Media LLC. As a partner, you are welcome to:

• Re-share Omaha Guidebook’s social media posts (e.g. share to stories, etc)

• Link to Omaha Guidebook’s content from your website, social media, or email

You may not download, repost, or redistribute our content directly from your channels without written permission. This applies regardless of whether credit is given. Our partnerships do not include content usage rights. If you're interested in licensing our content for use on your own channels or in paid advertising, reach out to discuss pricing.

The above applies to Omaha Guidebook partnership content. Content purchased through the photo and video add-on is covered separately under the photo and video add-on section.

Photo and video add-on

For dedicated features, you can add on photo and video content created for use on your own channels. This add-on is only available as part of a dedicated feature, while we're already on site.

Deliverables are the edited photos and video you purchase, delivered within 2 weeks. One round of minor revisions is included. Minor revisions cover small edits like swapping a selected photo or adjusting color. Reshoots, re-edits of the concept, or additional rounds are billed separately.

You may use the add-on deliverables on your own channels and in your own advertising, including your website, social media, email, and paid ads. We retain copyright in the content and the right to use it as well. You may not resell the content, sublicense it, or provide it to a third party to use as their own. These usage rights apply only to the add-on deliverables you purchase, not to any Omaha Guidebook partnership content.

The add-on fee is due with the remaining balance for your feature, before content is posted. Applicable sales tax will be added to any add-on video deliverables and shown on your invoice.

Cancellations and refunds

For dedicated features and date night features: The 50% deposit is refundable if you cancel more than 10 days before the scheduled filming date. Cancellations within 10 days of the filming date are non-refundable.

For event promos and email newsletter sponsorships: All sales are final once work is in progress.

For hosted visits: Either party may cancel at any time before the visit. However, we ask that you please only offer a hosted visit if you're committed to following through. Last-minute cancellations affect our schedule and our availability to feature other businesses.

If a filming date needs to be rescheduled for any reason, we'll work together to find a new time based on availability.

Results

We put genuine care and effort into every piece of content. That said, we can't guarantee specific results for any content we create. Many factors that influence performance are entirely outside our control. Our goal is always to create content that performs well for our audience and represents your business fairly.

Partnership approval

Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee a partnership. We review all inquiries and reserve the right to decline any partnership request. If we decide to move forward, we'll reach out to confirm the details and next steps.

Non-exclusive partnerships

Our partnerships are non-exclusive. We regularly feature a range of businesses, including some that may be considered competitors, and a partnership does not prevent us from working with other businesses in your category.

Limitation of liability

We put real care into every partnership. To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a partnership is limited to the amount you paid us for that partnership. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska. Any dispute relating to a partnership or these terms will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Nebraska.
